Diploma course D17002
What is the IAM Diploma?
The Institute of Asset Management (IAM) launched two new qualifications in asset management in June 2012. The IAM Diploma is a standalone qualification, and is also designed as the second formal step to professional development. The IAM Certificate and Diploma are amongst the first qualifications evaluated and assessed for their relevance in the global forum according to a new international accord on Asset Management Qualifications.
Who is our Diploma Course for?
The IAM Diploma is the leading international qualification for people who have chosen asset management as their career path.
It is tailor-made for experienced asset management practitioners seeking to consolidate their knowledge and credentials, or secure higher level responsibilities. The IAM Certificate is a pre-requisite of the IAM Diploma.
Our unique Diploma course doesn’t just prepare you to pass the Diploma exam; it combines action learning, group work and supported research to provide an intellectual challenge, an engrossing learning experience and an expanded professional network. It is designed to develop and stretch your ability in all the main components of an Asset Management System. By the end of it, you will be confident in your
knowledge of AM processes and ready to take on additional responsibilities in AM strategy, planning, risk, information and business process improvements.
Formal assessment is by examination set and administered by the IAM. Public examinations are held regularly in the UK, and can be arranged in other countries through the IAM. The AMA will also aim to host an examination following the final course date. The exam is run entirely independent of trainer. AMA alumini have a very high percentage pass rate to date.
