AMA are proud to have recently delivered a course for RNLI. It is fantastic to know that we can help such an amazing organisation and we are confident that the training will bring immense benefits to them.

We chose the asset management academy to provide our training needs following a business decision to pursue industry standard and best practice to manage our fairly extensive portfolio of assets.

The RNLI due to its charitable status needs to ensure that it’s valuable funding is spent in the most efficient and optimised way and using asset management principles to optimise the lifecycle management of assets and realise value both for the crews and supporters is vital.

The course was structured and tailored in such a way that it suited a group of all RNLI delegates with varying levels of understanding of AM principles. We were able to complete the course and exam and leave with a level understanding of how we can apply the skills learned to make improvements in the way we manage our operational assets. Personally I found this course to be one of the most valuable short courses I have attended in the 27 years I have spent with the institution and I am convinced once the asset management framework embeds itself in to the wider organisation we will benefit hugely and help to ensure a sustainable future.
