AMCL North America is happy to announce their very first face-to-face public IAM Diploma course. The course will be delivered in-person by one of our leading global trainers, Ruth Wallsgrove FIAM AMP, from June 3rd – 11th, 2024 (excluding the weekend).

Each day will run for 8 hours with a good break for lunch, as well as other short breaks throughout the duration of the class.

Our IAM Diploma course consists of 7 in depth modules

Based on the IAM Diploma Syllabus leading to the Advanced Asset Management exam, modules D6 to D12. D1 to D5 are covered in the IAM Certificate which is included in this purchase.

Each module comes with its own course book.

The course will be delivered from 9 AM – 5 PM MST each day, for a total of full 8 teaching hours per day! The total course is 56 training hours.

IAM Certificate level knowledge is expected. Our course is a deep dive into the advanced modules. We include access to our premium Certificate eLearning in the price of the Diploma course. No other course goes into the depth and learning hours like this.

Formal assessment is by a multiple choice examination set by the IAM, and the exam is 3 hours in duration. An exam registration walkthrough will be presented towards the end of the course. You will also be provided with instructions on how to register and schedule your exam, as well as FAQs and other helpful guides.

The exam is run entirely independent of the training and can be taken online from home or in-person at a PearsonVue testing venue. AMA alumini have a very high percentage pass rate to date.

Credit card (Stripe) – our payment provider is Stripe which will accept most major credit cards. This is the default checkout option and immediately confirms your course place.
Invoice/Purchase Order – to pay by Purchase Order (PO) please follow the checkout process and select this option. We will wait for your purchase order before issuing an invoice for the course place.
Quotation/Pro forma invoice – if you need finance approval, select this option to get a formal order email with the cost. We can convert the order to any other payment method later if required
Direct bank transfer – select this option you can pay by bank transfer. Your course place is not secured until payment is received.

The Diploma tests the understanding and application of Asset Management theory. It is crucial that you have a good understanding of the principles of Asset Management before commencing the Diploma course.

The IAM Certificate is not required before sitting the Diploma, however we would recommend that you hold the Certificate to check you are ready for the next step. We include our eLearning Certificate course with this course for anyone who needs a refresh.

Our course consists of 7 day advanced Asset Management training.

7 days at Turner & Townsend’s Calgary office (736 6 Ave SW 8th Floor, Suite 850, Calgary, AB T2P 3T7) from June 3rd – 11th, 2024 (excluding the weekend).

Our IAM Diploma course consists of seven modules. The modules are delivered in small classes of 8 – 15 people, in two blocks of five and two days each. Each day consists for 7+ learning hours.

This is not a top-up course, as delegates are expected to have IAM Certificate level knowledge before taking our course. All 7 days are deep dives into advanced Asset Management.

Training is based around individual and small group projects, from developing an AM Policy through planning for ISO 55000 certification, to modelling demand and running a contingency planning exercise.

Our classes provide a wonderful opportunity to share experiences with your peers from other organizations, sectors and backgrounds, and develop your personal skills and professional network. They are taught by expert practitioners who have applied strategic Asset Management thinking and practices in real business situations.

There is pre-reading before attending the course, on-line research and preparation required between the two blocks, and small group projects to complete afterwards, with tutor support and feedback.
